Revelation Chapter 3 (R03c1)

Church of Laodicea
 
Rev 3:14-16  “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."
   God declared that He is a creator who is faithful, truthful and knows our deeds. He classified us into three spiritual characteristic profiles.
 
Mat 21:28-31  “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.
   The first son was quick to rebuff his father but came around and did as he was told.
   The second son was quick to pay lip service but did nothing.
1. Cold – like first son.
   These are quiet Christians who cannot commit themselves to any ministry in the church because of other commitments. They are people whose work goes unnoticed, made sacrifices in secret, and whose good works have encouraged and help many brethren (Matt 6).
2. Hot - true disciples
   Christians who are zealous, outspoken, expose heresies, obedient to His word, preachers of the gospel and commit to disciple making.
3. Lukewarm - the second son
   Jesus used the second son as a metaphor to hypocritical chief priests and elders who were quick to acquiesce to God’s commandments but did not commit to practicing it. Their religious traditions were merely performances to covet the praises of men. They were not sincere and had sinful inner thoughts. These lukewarm Christians are like the abominable Jewish hypocrites who crucified our Lord Jesus.
Luke 16:14-15   Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
 
Rev 3:17  Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—
   The church was prosperous in its physical form but was miserable, wretched, poor, blind and naked spiritually.
   Rich and powerful churches and congregations today have robbed God by hoarding His money in properties, stock market, deposits in banks, and investments. Don’t they know that in God’s eyes, they are wretched, miserable... Why?
 
Rev 3:18  I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
1. Refined gold from God- Christians are warned not to store up wealth for themselves but to build treasures in heaven by distributing earthly wealth for good works. In doing so, we will be rewarded with refined gold in heaven (Luke 12:33).
2. White garments - awarded to stalwart Christians who follow Christ through thick and thin (Rev 3:1-6 and Rev 6:9-11).
3. Eye salve - Medicine for the eyes so that Christians understand scriptures, prophecies, and set their minds on things above.
Eph 1:17-18  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

Church of Laodicea

Last Days Church
Jam 5:1-6  Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.
   This last Church of Laodicea is a good example of today's rich and powerful endtime churches, who have robbed God by hoarding up His money meant for His ministries.
   God warned Churches and Christians:-
1.           not to rob God by heaping up treasures on earth in stocks, properties, bank deposits and valuables.
2. ensure that His numerous ministries in mission and caring for the poor and needy are propely funded.
3.            to beware that labourers are fairly treated and they are not crying to the Lord for low and unfair salaries
4.            not to waste God's money pleasuring themselves and living in luxury
5.           to ensure that faithful and just Christians are respected, and not persecuted, reviled and destroyed by false testimonies.
   However, if they do not repent, God will ensure that they will suffer great pains seeing their wealth disappear.
2 Tim 3:1-5 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money... disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
 
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
   Are you aware that your sickness, sorrows, trials and deficits in life are God’s chastisement for you, out of His love? He wants to set you free from your sinful ways if only you would repent.
   Do not be deceived into thinking that these are demonic attacks. If God could not keep the devil in check, then He is unworthy to be your Father God.
Note:  No one can touch nor harm you without the approval of our Father God.
 
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
   The Lord is calling out to you incessantly to repent of your covetousness. Will you turn over a new leaf and welcome Him into your life by loving Him instead of loving the world and the things therein?
1 John 2:15-16  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
 
Rev 3:21-22  "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
   Can you believe that if you can overcome the sins, evil and wickedness in the end time, you can sit on the throne of God in heaven as His bride (or sons) and help Him rule the whole heavens (including angels)?
Yes -  because you have converted (sacrificed) your earthly glory and wealth for heavenly rewards.
Rom 8:16-17  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Revelation Chapter 4 (R04a)

Scene in Heaven - Before Rapture
 
Rev 4:1-2  After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
   God called John up to heaven and showed him what was to happen soon for a purpose. Somewhere along the line, Paul was caught up to heaven for the same purpose. They were men on a God-given mission.
2 Cor 12:4  how he (Paul) was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
Note  - many Christian leaders claimed (lied) to have visited heaven (some many times), yet by their fruit, they have blown their cover.
 
The New Covenant
Mat 26:27-28  Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
   Jesus was a Jew on earth whose teachings were in line with the Law of Moses because to do otherwise, it would be sin. We are made to understand from Paul’s epistles, that Jesus, having fulfilled the Mosaic Law and the Prophets, had made them obsolete with the New Covenant of His blood shed on the cross.
 
Love One Another
Rom 13:8-10  Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
   When any Jew loved one another as Jesus had loved us by dying on the cross for the remission of our sin, he had fulfilled the law and need not keep any law including feasts, Sabbath, etc.
 
Rev 4:3-4  And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.
 
Jasper - an aggregate of microgranular quartz is an opaque, impure variety of silica, usually red.
Sardine stone - sardion (Greek) from a root meaning "red", is a gem of a blood-red colour.
   The colour of jasper and sardius stone is typically red which speaks for the  blood of Jesus that was shed for our redemption.
 
The Love of God
Phil 2:5-8  Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God... And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
   Jesus gave up his divine privileges and humbly reincarnated as a man to save mankind. He was hung on the cross for the removal of our curses, His blood and death for our redemption and the stripes on His broken body for our healing.
 
The rainbow  is a reminder of God’s faithfulness in keeping His covenant.
 
Rev 4:5-6  And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
  God appeared before the Israelites on Mount Sinai accompanied by the appearance of lightnings, thunders and voices.

Revelation Chapter 4 (R04b)

Scene in Heaven
 
Rev 4:7-8  The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”
 
1 like a Lion
Rev 5:5  But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”
   Jesus was born as the Lion of Judah, the king of animals, and the King of kings.
 
2 like a Calf
Luke 2:7  And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
   Jesus was born in humility in a stable amongst animals. He was the predestined sacrificial Lamb for the atonement of our sins and the sacrificial Calf as an absolution offering for the sins of His priests and leaders.
Lev 9:8  Aaron therefore went to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
 
3 like the Face of Man
John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
   Jesus incarnated in the flesh obediently died on the cross for the salvation of men.
Phil 2:5-8  ... And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
 
4 like a Flying Eagle
Isa 40:31  But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
   People who put their trust in the Lord will be strong in all aspects and gain victory over the pain of living, sicknesses and bondages.
Isa 9:6  For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
 
Who are the four living creatures?
Rev 5:8  Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp...
   The four living creatures who are in reverence of Jesus are faithful disciples who have been transformed into His image. The faces of the four creatures signify the humanity of Jesus and His ministries on earth.
Eze 1:6,10  Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings... As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.
 
Full of Eyes around and within
   The four creatures understand the word of God, His will and His work.
Eze 1:18  As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.
 
Led by the Spirit
Eze 1:12  And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went.
   These are disciples who kept His words and are led by the Spirit of God
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
 
Rev 4:9-11  Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”     
  Self explanatory.

Revelation Chapter 5 (R05)

Scene in Heaven - Before Rapture
 
Rev 5:1-4  And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
   God was seated on the throne and was holding a scroll which was sealed with seven seals. When no one was found worthy to open the scroll, John cried, because the mysteries of God in the scroll could not be revealed to them.
 
Rev 5:5-7  But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
   An elder comforted John by telling him that One from the tribe of Judah, a descendant of David had overcome and was found worthy of opening the scroll. In the midst of the throne, stood a Lamb who was resurrected from the dead and was filled with the seven Spirits of God, our Lord Jesus Himself. He came and took the scroll from the hand of God.
 
Rev 5:8-10  Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”
   When our Lord Jesus took the scroll, the four living creatures and twenty four elders fell before Him and sang a new song. Thanking Him for redeeming them back to God with His blood on the cross and for awarding them to be His kings and priests.
Note  the four living creatures and twenty four elders were human beings for they were redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
 
Rev 5:11-14  Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!” Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.
   Whenever the saints are gathered before the throne of God, spontaneous worship erupts. They bow down in honour of the Father and to the Lamb for their sacrificial love to mankind. Expressions of gratitude for their salvation on earth and for their eternal inhabitance with God, are beautiful sound of praise in the heavenly realm.

Revelation Chapter 6 (R06-1a)

First Seal-1
   False Christ
 
Rev 6:1-2  Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
 
Rider is on a white horse
   This rider is empowered (on horse) to perform righteous (white) work. Our Lord Jesus and His heavenly armies were clothed in white linen (Rev 19:14-15).
Warning – no mention of this rider wearing white garment. If so, then it is easy to isolate him as Satan's cohort by his bad fruit (truthless, covetous, proud, depraved with lies, heresies and the approval of homosexuality).
 
Rider shoots darts with the bow
Eph 6:16-17  above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
   Christians are to take up the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts (distorted doctrines and heresies) of the wicked one, whose agents are false teachers, false prophets and Antichrists. Christians must use the sword of the Spirit (the word of God) to overcome the deceptions and wicked schemes of Satan.
Warning – this rider is definitely an agent of Satan (shooting darts to destroy our faith).
 
A crown was given to him
   He is elected by the people to be the head of state (king, president, prime minister, etc.).
 
He went forth conquering
   He is so convincing and powerful that all will fear and submit to him.
 
PLO-Israel Peace Treaty
   On 13 Sept 1993, US President Clinton with unanimous approval from all UN members pressured Israeli Prime Minister Rabin to sign the PLO-Israel Peace Treaty by trading the Promised Land for peace with the following conditions:
1. to immediately cede Jericho
– walls of Jericho miraculously came tumbling down without Israel lifting a finger.
2. to immediately cede Gaza strip
– David killed the giant Goliath from Gaza with a smooth round stone from the brook.
3. to cede West Bank in stages
– God gave the Promised Land to Israel as their eternal inheritance.
4. to negotiate for Jerusalem - Jerusalem is the Holy City of the Lord God Almighty.
 
Faithlessness of Israel and Christians
   Jericho was the first (Alpha) place in the Promised land where God handed it to Israel by bringing down the high and strong walls after the trumpets and their shouts.
   The Gaza Strip was the land of the Philistines (giants) and it was the last (Omega) place conquered. God help the lad David to kill the giant Goliath with a sling and a smooth pebble.
   The above two miracles were well known and the greatest since the days of Moses and yet Israel does not believe them.
   God gave the Promised land to Israel as their eternal inheritance and to give away any part of the West Bank is outright unbelief, disobedience, and an abomination to the Lord.
   Jerusalem is the Holy City of the Lord God Almighty and therefore it is not negotiable.
 
and to conquer
   Jews and Christians have forgotten that the promised land – Israel, is the eternal inheritance of the Israelites.
   Repent brethren for approving this abominable Peace Treaty, which reveals our faithlessness in God.
   I believe that the First Seal was opened in 1993 when President Clinton brokered the signing of the abominable PLO-Israel Peace Treaty, which also started the Last Generation.
   He was also the first end time false christ mentioned in Mat 24:4-5

First Seal (False Christ) - 2
 
Endtime Signs taught by Jesus
Mat 24:3  Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
   When the disciples of our Lord Jesus requested to know the endtime signs of His coming and the end of age, I believe that our Lord used this occasion to teach us the endtime signs in chronological order. With that, we can identify the times and the seasons of all endtime prophecies fulfilled and going to be fulfilled.
 
The Last Generation
Mat 24:32-34  “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
 
Fig tree - the nation of Israel
Its branch tender - Israel still a young nation (rebirth in 1948)
put forth leaves - shows signs of Unbelief
summer is harvest time - the end time harvest of souls or Rapture.
   When we see Israel (fig tree), while still a young nation (branch tender), shows signs of Unbelief (puts forth leaves) in God or OT, then we know that the last generation has begun.
 
The PLO-ISRAEL Peace Treaty required Israel: -
- to immediately cede Jericho and Gaza strip to the Palestinians.
- to cede the West Bank in stages

   I believe this PLO-Israel Peace Treaty in 1993 fulfilled the great Unbelief of Israel as prophesied in Mat 24:32-34, and started the Last Generation.
 
1st. Sign - False Christs
Mat 24:4-5  And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.”
   Christ means ‘the anointed one’. In the OT, the kings, priesthood and prophets were the anointed. In these last days, false christs are wicked and fallen Christian Presidents, pastors, elders, prophets, church leaders.
 
Satan and Demons cast down to earth
Rev 12:9a  So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world
   I believe the PLO-Israel Peace Treaty, which started the Last Generation, caused Satan and his fallen angels to be cast down to earth resulting in multitudes of wicked, depraved, demonic and abominable churches and leading unrepented deceived Christians to damnation.
   The great harlot in Rev 17 represents the immense corruption and decay of Christianity in the West just as in: -
1.           Days of Lot - Christian nations have legalized homosexuality and same sex marriages. Many leaders openly declared themselves as sodomites and some participated in same sex marriages.
2.           Days of Noah - End time churches and Christian leaders are as selfish, covetous, wicked and evil as those in the days of Noah.
Gen 6:5-6  Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
