Christians
in the Last Days
Christians
outside New Jerusalem
Rev 22:15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
Christians still committing any of the above sins cannot enter into the kingdom of Heaven (New Jerusalem)
1. dogs - return to old habits and behaviour.
2 Pet 2:22a But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,"...
2. sorcerers - using lies and deceptions as miracles to deceive Christians
3. sexually immoral - adultery, fornication, sex out of wedlock, homosexuals
4. murderers - hate brethren
1 John 3:15a Whoever hates his brother is a murderer...
5. idolaters - covetousness is idolatry
Col 3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
6. liars - deceivers and servants of Satan the father of lies..
1 Pet 4:1-3 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
2 Tim
4:2-4 Preach the word! Be ready in
season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and
teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but
according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap
up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth,
and be turned aside to fables.
These carnal Christians have rejected the truth because of their love of the things of the world and the lusts therein. They prefer wrong doctrines and worldly wisdom of the savage wolves to justify their earthly lusts and pride.
Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
Salvation by
the Grace of God
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
God is true to His words that whoever believes the gospel of Christ is saved, provided after his salvation, he:-
A) has repented from any new sin leading to death -
idolatry, homosexuality, blaspheming the Holy Spirit, adultery, unforgiveness.
B) is free from destructive doctrines and heresies.
All those saved are placed on the New Earth.
Their imperfect resurrection defiled by sins need healing by the leaves of the
tree of life, brought out by the kings of the earth.
The light (love, joy, peace, reliefs, and comfort) they received is minimal.
Rev 21:24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
Saved for
Good Works
Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
God is faithful to His promise that He will reward Christians according to their works done out of sincere love for God and brethren. They can enter the New Jerusalem as His faithful servants or as His bride (sons) seated on Jesus' throne (Rev 3:21).
