Christians outside New Jerusalem
Rev 22:15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
Untransformed and unholy Christians stay outside New Jerusalem on the New Earth. They cannot enter the glorious and holy Kingdom of heaven (New Jerusalem) for they still love the world and the lusts therein.
1. dogs - return to old habits and behaviour.
2 Pet 2:22a But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit,"...
2. sorcerers - using lies and deceptions as miracles to deceive Christians
3. sexually immoral - immoral living, sex out of wedlock,
4. murderers - hate brethren
I John 3:15a Whoever hates his brother is a murderer...
5. idolaters - covetousness
Col 3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
6. liars - normally for pride and personal gain.
I John 2:4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
These worldly and carnal Christians have been deceived by the wrong doctrines and worldly wisdom taught by their church leaders.
Note Church leaders who practice or teach destructive doctrines and heresies are savage wolves (false prophets) and they will be thrown into the Lake of fire.
Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
Salvation by the Grace of God
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
God is true to His words that whoever believes the gospel of Christ will be saved from damnation, provided he has not committed sins leading to death and is free from destructive doctrines and heresies.
So all those saved are placed on the New Earth outside New Jerusalem. The light (love, joy, peace, reliefs, and comfort) they received is minimal.
Only their kings can bring in glory and honor in exchange for the leaves from the tree of life for their healing. Their imperfect resurrection was defiled by sins and carnality.
Rev 21:24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
Saved for Good Works
Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
God is faithful to His promise that Christians will be rewarded according to their works. Good works are done out of love, led by the Spirit of God and in accordance to His words. Unfortunately, most Christians today are like the five foolish virgins, doing works without His anointing.
Five Foolish Virgins
Mat 25:3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them.
These five foolish virgins believe the gospel and serve Jesus, but they are without extra anointing (took no oil) because they followed their leaders' worldly wisdom and did not keep His commandments.
Note for your safety, read the bible and keep the commandments and words of Jesus and the Epistles of the Apostles.
John 14:15-17a "If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth..."
Outside New Jerusalem
Mat 25:11-12 "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'
These five foolish virgins, who accept wrong doctrines, will not be allowed into the New Jerusalem. They do not love Him since they do not keep the words in His love letters (bible) written to them.
