Revelation Chapter 7 (R07)

     Sixth Seal - After Rapture

Twelve Tribes sealed on Earth
Rev 7:1-4  After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
God seals believers with the Holy Spirit as a mark of ownership. At Rapture, the Holy Spirit returns to heaven together with the elects. It is not over the top to think that those left behind will repent and turn to God, right? No! Only 144,000 Israelites will be saved! They will receive a seal from God as a mark of proprietorship so that no harm will befall them when He releases His fury upon those who have the mark of the beast.

Twelve Tribes of Israel
Gen 49:28  All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them. And he blessed them; he blessed each one according to his own blessing.
The twelve Tribes of Israel are the descendants of the twelve sons of Israel (Jacob). They are as follows:-
1. Reuben - Gen 49:3
2. Simone - Gen 49:5
3. Levi - Gen 49:5
4. Judah - Gen 49:8
5. Zebulun - Gen 49:13
6. Issachar - Gen 49:14
7. Dan - Gen 49:16
8. Gad - Gen 49:19
9. Asher - Gen 49:20
10. Naphtali - Gen 49:21
11. Joseph - Gen 49:22
12. Benjamin - Gen 49:27

The Levites did not receive any land because the Lord God is their inheritance. The conquered Canaan Land was divided between the twelve tribes of Israel so that each tribe can provide for the king's household on a monthly rotational basis. Joseph, the favourite son of Jacob, was treated as if he was the firstborn son and received double the inheritance. Reuben lost his birth right because of transgression. Ephraim and Manasseh, the two sons of Joseph, received their father's portions.

The 144,000 saved Jews are made up of 12,000 sealed believers from each tribe.
Rev 7:5-8 lists the tribes to which they belonged:
1. Reuben
2. Simone
3. Levi
4. Judah
5. Zebulun
6. Issachar
7. ~Manasseh~  (Dan)
8. Gad
9. Asher
10. Naphtali
11. Joseph
12. Benjamin

False Pen of Scribes
Jer 8:8  "How can you say, 'We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us'? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood."
We can rightly divide the word and cross reference with scriptures in the whole counsel of God to rule out man made mistakes.
The absence of Dan in the list of tribes is an error made by scribes during transcription. Manasseh and Ephraim are the sub-tribes from the household of Joseph, so Manasseh in Rev 7:6 should not be included as a main tribe. Dan is the missing tribe, mentioned also in Eze 48:1-2, that should replace Manasseh.

Rev 21:12  Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:.

Raptured Saints in Heaven
Rev 7:9-13  After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!..."
Saved in God's presence, an infinite multitude ascribes glory to God and sets off a string of praise and worship.
Rev 7:14-17  And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb..."
