Heresies in Churches
Rev 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
Our Lord Jesus sent His angels to testify of the heresies and deceptions of Satan that flourished in the seven NT churches. However, God will continue to allow these deceptions in churches for He will only share His glorious and holy Kingdom with faithful and holy Christians who have overcome Satan.
Warning Christians esp. leaders, deceived by Satan to practice abominations and teach destructive doctrines and heresies, will likely have their names blotted out from the Book of Life.
So it is our duty (normally a difficult, unwelcomed, unappreciated and easily misunderstood mission) to bring misled brethren out from damnation to repentance and into His truth.
2 Tim 2:24-26 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Come in to Drink
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
The Spirit and the bride on the throne encourage every Christian to enter into New Jerusalem to drink the water from the river of life and be blissful if only they keep the words of Jesus.
Note both the Spirit and bride are together, because while on earth, sons of God were led by the Spirit.
For the sake of encouraging the brethren to fear and love the Lord, you may suffer persecution, reviling, rejections and even condemnation, yet you must forgive, bless and love them.
This light earthly sufferings out of your love for God, will produce the glorious reward as son of God.
Rom 8:14, 18-19 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God... For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
Rev 22:18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
God knew that in the last days, Christians prefer lies, fables and blessings instead of truth. They will distort the truth in His words into destructive doctrines.
So if anyone adds words to distort truth, he will suffer plagues and if he subtracts truth from it, he may lose his salvation with his name blotted out from the Book of Life
Rev 22:19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Rev 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen.
We are already living in the last generation. Jesus is coming soon! Let's be ready - with a humble and contrite heart makes disciples, loves one another as Jesus had love us and willingly be led by His Spirit until He comes.
Rev 22:21 Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Be like Apostle Peter
Luke 18:28-30 Then Peter said, "See, we have left all and followed You." So He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life."
Rewards to His true disciples - everlasting bliss as His bride on the throne, and as kings assisting Jesus, the King of kings.
