    Revelation Made Simple

Amos 3:7   Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

  God will not do anything unless He first reveal His plans to men. Then, why is the book of Revelation so difficult to understand?

Sealed till the Time of the End

Dan 12:8-9  Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things? ” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

  Daniel was gifted with the ability to interpret dreams and visions with one exception. However, he could not understand the imagery, metaphor and symbolism of end time visions because God has willed that only those living in the last days will be given the interpretation and understanding (for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end).

Endtime by our Lord Jesus

Mat 24:3  Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" 

  When Jesus taught His disciples the end time signs, they are in chronological order as recorded in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. All endtime teachings must follow the above chronology.

Are we living in the last days?

    I am convinced that the signing of PLO-Israel Peace Treaty in 1993 kicked off the beginning of end time. God has begun to reveal end time truths to those who humbly seek after Him. We are the last generation who will witness Rapture.

Note   Our Lord's endtime teachings and those found in Daniel, deal with events up to Rapture (the last day for Christians). 

Book of Revelation

  The first 11 Chapters of the book of Revelation are in chronological order. It covers the Apostolic church (Chapter 1-3), scene in heaven then (Chapter 4-5), last days church (Chapter 6 - first 6 seals) ending with the 6th Seal as the Rapture.

  Immediately after Rapture, Rev 7:1-10 is the scene on earth with the 144,000 new Israeli converts being sealed with the mark of God, and Rev 7:11-15 being the scene of the glorious saints taken back to heaven. 

  7th Seal (Chapters 8-11) records the wrath of God (7 trumpets/bowls/vials) upon all those left behind who have taken the mark of the beast '666'.

However, from Chapter 12, onwards the Book of Revelation is no longer in chronological order for the chapters highlight earlier endtime events.

   It also records in Rev 20 - Jesus' Millennium Rule, Great White Throne judgment and in Rev 21-22 the New Heaven and the New Earth.

Revelation Chapter 1 (R01a)

    Scene in Heaven

Rev 1:1-2  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.

    The revelation given to John encompassed the New Testament church (things which must take place shortly) and end time events which include War World 3, Wrath of Satan, Rapture, Wrath of God, Jesus Millennium Rule and the eternal New Heaven and the New Earth.

    Jesus instructed His disciples in that the end time signs should be in chronological order, as recorded in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. It is interesting to note that although Jesus was the originator of end times teaching in the New Testament, He made a cross reference to the prophetic word of Daniel in the Old Testament as in

Mat 24:15  "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand) ...

Rev 1:3  Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

    To the seven churches which were part of the New Testament church recorded by John, God's warning is approaching (time is near).

   Our Lord had assured those who have read, heard, understood, and kept to the teachings of end times, that, by faith, they will overcome the deception of Satan.

John 14:29  "And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe."

    

Rev 1:4  John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne...

   God generously reveals His attributes to His churches in order to foster trust in Him. He is the eternal God, who was from the beginning, and is, the Word made flesh to save men. He will judge the living and the dead. He is the Almighty, who loves, unlike Satan who destroys. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and understanding.

Seven Spirits of God

Isa 11:1-2  There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

1. Spirit of the Lord (salvation or empowering)

2. Spirit of wisdom

3. Spirit of understanding

4. Spirit of counsel

5. Spirit of might

6. Spirit of knowledge of the Lord

7. Spirit of the fear of the Lord   

    These seven Spirits of God are the seven attributes/ministries of the Holy Spirit. They are given to His disciples in accordance to the measures of faith, in order to anoint and to empower them in their ministries.

Rev 1:5-6  ...and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

    Our Lord Jesus is the faithful witness of God's word and He is the first fruit from the dead. He will be crowned as King during His Millennium Rule on earth. Out of His great love, He died on the cross as the propitiation for our sin. He has given every born-again Christian an opportunity to serve the Father as a priest and king to rule over all, including angels, for He is the King of kings.

Revelation Chapter 1 (R01b)

Rev 1:7  Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

 

1. Coming with the clouds

    At Rapture, during the great heavenly Blackout, our Lord will come with His heavenly hosts resembling the falling stars from the sky. Trumpets will sound heralding the coming of the King. As the stars draw nearer and nearer, they will become visibly bigger to the naked eyes. At the end of the trumpet sound, all eyes will see our Lord Jesus on the clouds. Immediately, His elects will rise to meet Him there.

Mark 13:24-26  "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory."

Note - this heralding trumpet is not the same as the seven trumpets of judgment in Rev 8

2. They who pierced Him

    At Rapture, Jesus will pour His grace to all Israelites and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, who will repent of their sins for crucifying Him when they see Him with His pierced wounds on the clouds. This will be the 144,000 Israelites saved in Rev 7.

Zech 12:10  "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn."

3. Tribes of the earth will mourn

    Before Rapture, the whole world has heard the gospel of Jesus and His coming. So when these unbelievers see the reality of Rapture, they will regret for rejecting Jesus and missing their salvation. They will mourn because they know that it is already too late for they have taken the mark of the beast 666 and only damnation and the lake of fire await them.

Mat 24:30  "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Rev 1:8   "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

    Our Lord repeatedly assures us that He alone is the Almighty God for He is the Beginning (Alpha) and is also the End (Omega). He knows everything and He is in control of all things from the beginning to the end. So trust Him and fear nothing.

Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath

Mark 2:27-28  And He said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath."

   We have 38 (Orang Asli) churches for the aborigines deep in the mountainous jungle. We thank Jesus that He is the Lord of the Sabbath and has made the Sabbath for man so that Sabbath can now be any day of the week.

   With a limited number of pastors (7), we have no other choice but to hold our worship services (Sabbath) everyday of the week starting from Sunday to Saturday. Worship services will start as soon as we arrive. During the rainy season with the muddy roads being soft, slippery and hazardous worship services are often delayed for up to one or two days.

The Lord's Day

Rev 1:9-10a   I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet...

  John recorded Sunday as the Lord's Day in connection with the resurrection day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Unlearned and misled Christians attribute Sunday to be the day of the devil or 666. This shows their faithlessness in our Almighty God and our resurrected Lord.

   In fact, every day is the Lord's day for He is the Creator of everything.

Revelation Chapter 1 (R01c)

Rev 1:11  "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

    Our Lord assured His people that He is the Almighty and is in control of all things. John was told to record the visions and to send them to the seven churches.    

Rev 1:12-13  Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.

    The golden lampstands is a figurative representation of the churches that our omnipresent  Jesus dwells in whenever there is a gathering of praise and worship.

    His garment was down to the feet without the exposure of the flesh or nakedness, i.e. without any sinful nature.

    He shows His eternal _(golden band round His chest)_ faith, love and righteousness towards men. (breastplate of faith, love and righteousness)

Mat 18:20  "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

Rev 1:14-15  His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;

    These are some of the attributes of our glorious risen Lord. He is from the beginning (the Ancient One), righteous and holy (white as snow), He see the intents of our hearts (eyes like flames of fire), a just God for His foundation is judgment with justice (feet of refined bronze), His voice is strong, loud and assuring.

Rev 1:16  He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

   He is in control of the 7 (all Christians) churches' leadership (stars - angels or leadership), His word is a sharp two-edged sword, which protects (by attacking the enemies) but also cleanses (sanctifies) Christians, His face shines as the light to the world.

Rev 1:17-18  And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."

    John recognized the Lord and fell on His feet in fear. The Lord comforted Him by confirming that He is the resurrected Jesus, his Friend and Master. He affirmed John that He had complete power over Death and Hades after defeating Satan and his demons with His resurrection.

Heb 2:13-15  And again: "I will put My trust in Him." And again: "Here am I and the children whom God has given Me." Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Rev 1:19  Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.

    John was told to write down everything that he had seen - things that was in heaven then and also events of the future.

Rev 1:20  The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

    The stars or angels (angel means messenger) mentioned in the seven churches are a representation of pastors or church leaders, and lampstands represent churches or the gathering of believers.  

   Just like our Lord Jesus explained clearly to His disciples the meaning of the parables in Matthew 13, we also need the Lord to enlighten us on the prophecies in the book of Revelation.

Revelation Chapter 2 (R02a)

      Church of Ephesus

Rev 2:1  “To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands”

    This letter was written to the leadership (angel) of the church of Ephesus. Our Lord comforted them that He has complete control of all church leaderships (stars) and also His presence in the church (lampstands).

Rev 2:2-3  “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary.

    This church looks like the perfect church of God that is full of righteous works, that despises evil, exposes false apostles and heresies, zealous and with great patience doing His commands.

Rev 2:4-5  Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

   Regretfully, this church has forgotten its first love. First love is that peaceful and blissful moment when we first believed and accepted Jesus as our Saviour.

    It was only decades ago at Pentecost, that Christians filled with faith in God, love for one another, and full of the Holy Spirit, sold everything they had and gave to the Apostles for helping the poor and needy brethren. 

Acts 4:33-35  And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.

How did they lose their first love?

Acts 5:3  But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?

    Unless Christians keep His words and crucify the flesh, Satan can deceive them just like how he had duped Ananias.

1 Pet 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Doing the Work of God

John 6:29  Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

    Our most important work is to believe who He is, in our daily life. Is He still your Provider when you are troubled and is deep in need? Is He still your Healer that you trust? Or do you depend only on health food and medical advice, making prayers undesirable? Is recognition and honour so important? 

Repent and do the first works.

    Brethren, we may be serving God zealously and sacrificially, but when we lack faith in the work He had done for us, then we have failed to fully trust Him. Let our beliefs in Him be perfect so that with truth we can overcome the wiles of Satan.

Rev 2:6  But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

    The deeds of the Nicolaitans were to mislead Christians into heresies that destroyed their faith in Jesus and His words.

Heresies will deny, reject or contradict the:

1. Attributes of God (Almighty, truth, love, faithful, cannot sin nor lie)

2. Divinity of Jesus

3. Word of Jesus

4. Teachings in the Epistles

5. Gospel of Jesus

6. Message of the Cross

Occults, cults and heretic practices will trespass one or more of the above truth.

Rev 2:7  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”

Revelation Chapter 2 (R02b)

      Church in Smyrna

Rev 2:8-9  "And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, 'These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:  "I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan."

    The Lord made an affirmation to the church leaders asserting that He is the omnipotent God who wields all powers and authorities in His hands. As believers in a living Christ, we no longer fear death for death could not hold Him.  

    He complimented them of their:

1.  good works - preaching the gospel, caring and teaching the sheep, feeding the poor

2.  tribulations – resistance and persecutions by the Gentiles, false brethren and the Jewish leadership.

3.  poverty - suffered great financial losses by giving up all to follow Jesus.

    Despite living in poverty, they are rich in the Lord because they have stored up for themselves treasures in heaven

Those who Say they are Jews

   In this church, there was a group of Christians who considered themselves as Jews, possibly because they observed one or more of:-

1. Keep Jewish Feasts

2. Do not eat unclean food

3. Keep Saturday as Sabbath

4. Partially keep the Law

5. Do not keep Christmas, Good Friday and Easter

6. Believe in Circumcision

7. Perform animal sacrifices

   Keeping all the above will not make one a Jew, when Israel is without the Levitical Priesthood and Temple of God.

Who were the Jews ?

Heb 8:10  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

    The Mosaic Law was a covenant made specifically for  the Israelites alone, to govern their lives in the promised land. At the death of Jesus, God left the temple when He tore the veil from top down. His death established the New Covenant that renders the Old Covenant (Judaism) obsolete.

   Jews must believe in the gospel of grace to be saved, just like John, Peter, Paul and everyone else.

Heb 8:13  In that He says, "A new covenant ," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Synagogue of Satan

   With Judaism made obsolete by the New Covenant of His blood, Jesus labelled the gatherings of these rebellious  and heretic Christians, who partially keep the Law as synagogues of Satan.

   The act of participating in the defunct Mosaic Law is one and the same as idolatry, which God hates. Instead of pleasing God with their sacrifices, unlearned Christians are cursed by God.

Gal 3:10  For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them."

Rev 2:10  Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

  Out of love, God permits the devil to inflict pain and suffering on His mislead children who partake in Jewish traditions and feasts to gear them into repentance.

  To the faithfuls, they will receive the heavenly reward of kingship, the crown.

Rev 2:11  "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death."

    For those who atone themselves of the heresy of keeping Jewish traditions and law, they will reign with Jesus during His Millennium Rule and as His priests in eternity.

Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Revelation Chapter 2 (R02c)

        Church in Pergamos 

Rev 2:12-13  "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: "I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells."

   Our Lord reminded the church that He has the sharp two-edged sword, a symbolic representation of the word of God. The sword is a weapon that can protect and help believers in overcoming deceptions and attacks. Our lives will be transformed into His likeness in the process.

   Despite dwelling in the midst of demonic strongholds and persecutions, the church remained steadfast in their belief and in persisted in doing good works. Even the martyr of Antipas could not dim their staunch faith. 

Doctrine of Balaam

Rev 2:14  "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality."

    Balaam who was a diviner was called upon by Balak, the king of Moab to place a malediction on the Israelites. Knowing that the Israelites were invincible because they were the people of God, Balaam told King Balak to connive a shady deal by giving their daughters for marriage with the Israelites. The Israelites began to worship Moabite's gods, eat food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. Their sinful behaviour irked God to the extent of bringing death by plague upon themselves.

Heresies of the Nicolaitans

Rev 2:15-16  Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

    The doctrine of Nicolaitans is liberal with no distinction between biblical truths and paganism. Just as the rebellious Israelites in Moab who compromised idolatry, Nicolaitans are no different. Their open minded teachings lead Christians into worldliness, self-gratification and sinful living. They propagate the false belief of once saved is always saved, prosperity gospel, secret rapture and keeping of Jewish traditions and laws.

Doctrines of demons

I Tim 4:1-2  Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

    If you refuse to repent from heresies or doctrines of demons, you have antagonized the Lord who will turn against you with His sword - the word of God.

    True repentance comes with regret of past wrongs, which is followed by commitment to turn over a new leaf. The act of abiding in the word of Jesus and taking up the sword of His mouth will safeguard your salvation.

Rev 2:17  "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. "

    Heretics who teach distorted truth are popular among carnal men because what they said are pleasing to the ears, leading many astray.  

    Nonetheless, believers who held on to sound doctrine will be rewarded with the food of angels and be given an exclusively classified new name embossed on a white stone for overcoming Satan's stones which is destructive heresies.

Mat 4:3  Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."

Revelation Chapter 2 (R02d1)

        Church in Thyatira 1

Rev 2:18-19  "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, 'These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first."

     Our Lord is the Almighty God who judges the intents of our heart with eyes like a flame of fire. His feet of fine brass are the foundation of justice in judgement. They were commended for their unceasing good works that grew in fervency with time.

Rev 2:20  Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

    Beware of false or self-proclaimed prophets and prophetesses in churches today. Just like Jezebel of old who killed the prophets of God, these wolves in sheepskins will destroy the faith of pastors and church leaders with their destructive heresies and send them to eternal damnation.

Note  no servant of God will go to the heathen temple and eat food offered to idols.

1. Eating food sacrificed to idols

Mat 4:4  But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.' "

     Since the word of God is the spiritual food for every Christian, then distorted truth, doctrines of demon and heresies are the spiritual food from the devil (food offered to idols). Thus, accepting and practising heresies and destructive doctrines is just like eating food sacrificed to idols.

    In the latter days, many Christian leaders will teach destructive heresies for financial gains, and the destination of these wolves is damnation.

2 Pet 2:1-3  But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

 

2. Commit sexual immorality

Jam 4:4  Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

    Christians are the brides of Christ. When mammon and the world become our first love, we have defiled our union and resigned ourselves to adultery by being carnal, proud, worldly, covetous, selfish and rebellious. 

I John 2:15-16  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Savage Wolves in Sheepskin

Acts 20:29-30  For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

    Since the garden of Eden, where God allowed Satan to test Adam and Eve, He had allowed the devil to test mankind since.

    He even allowed savage wolves, filled with distorted truth, wrong doctrines and heresies, to wreck havoc and cause division in the churches founded by the Apostle Paul.

    These wolves bring into the church heresies for financial gain because they are carnal, worldly, blind, covetous and faithless.

Titus 1:10-11  For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.

Revelation Chapter 2 (R02d2)

        Church in Thyatira 2

Rev 2:21  And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.

    God gave the worldly, carnal and heretic church leaders the chance to return to the truth but it was not reciprocated because mammon is the idol of their lives. They relegated God for the lust of their eyes, the lust of their flesh and the pride of life. They were an imitation of the Pharisees of old, justifying their rich and luxurious lifestyles with heresies and self-serving excuses.

Luke 16:14-15  Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Wolves will not Repent

Heb 6:4-6  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

    Wolves or false prophets will not repent for they have lost their salvation and they must be cast out from your church. They are actually the devil's agents.   

Rev 2:22-23  Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

    False prophetess will be stricken with incurable chronic illnesses and her followers will suffer great tragedies. In addition, death is inevitable for her children; her supporters and church leaders, that is. All the tribulations are meant to expose their falsehood and to grant forgiveness to repented hearts. God cannot be deceived because he can see through our hearts.

    

Rev 2:24-25  "Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come."

Depths of Satan 

    God forbids Christians from understanding the mysteries and the depth of Satan, demons and evil spirits. God Himself will battle with them, He will not encumber us, weak human beings.

    Christians are given the authority over Satan and his evil spirits - that in the name of Jesus we can cast out Satan and his evil spirits. When we trust Jesus by using His name, Jesus, Himself (not us) will cast out the evil spirits.

    Unfortunately, proud and carnal Christian leaders have been misled by Satan to study the mysteries of Satan from worldly, Satanic and demonic sources. Using the abominable doctrines of demons, they were deceived to fight Satan and lose their faith in Jesus with their failures. Put your trust in Jesus for a sure victory.

I Tim 4:1-2  Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

Rewards for Overcomers

Rev 2:26-29  "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— 'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels'— as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

    Overcomers will be bestowed with the status of kingship that empowers them to rule over the nations together with Christ the Morning Star.

Rev 22:16   "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."

Revelation Chapter 3 (R03a)

        Church of Sardis

Rev 3:1-2   "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.

   Jesus who has the full anointing of the seven Spirits of God told the church to be alert and to strengthen the remaining faith in Him and His gospel, words and Promises.

John 3:34   "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure."

Seven Spirits of God

Isa 11:1-2   There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

   

The Seven Spirits of God (Holy Spirit) given to Jesus are:-

1. The Spirit of the Lord (redemption or empowerment)

2. The Spirit of wisdom

3. The Spirit of understanding

4. The Spirit of counsel

5. The Spirit of might

6. The Spirit of knowledge of the Lord

7. The Spirit of the fear of the Lord

Ministerial Gifts of Jesus

Eph 4:11  And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers

    Our Lord Jesus gives the seven Spirits of God in measure to His servants in accordance to their ministries.

1. New convert - Holy Spirit of redemption

2. Wise Christian - Spirit of wisdom

3. Teacher - Spirit of understanding

4. Pastor - Spirit of counsel.

5. Evangelist - Spirit of might

6. Prophet - Spirit of the knowledge of the Lord

7. Apostle - Spirit of the fear of the Lord

Mat 7:24  "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:"

Sardis a Dead Church

    The church is lively and has vibrant ministries but it was declared dead by our Lord. It was led by the wisdom of men that their good works are deemed dead because they are done out of lawlessness and hypocrisy.

Rev 3:3-4  "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy."

   The Lord gave them the warning to repent of their imperfect work and to hold fast to His teachings or they will be killed and condemned to damnation.

Rev 3:5-6  "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

   The overcomers of this church will be given white garments at Rapture and their names will be found in the book of life which records the names of those who gained eternal life.

   Our Lord made it clear that those who do not repent of their sins will have their names blotted out from the book of life. Once saved is not always saved.

Revelation Chapter 3 (R03b)

       Church of Philadelphia

Rev 3:7  "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":

    King David was a weak and sinful man in his youth. He became a righteous and holy king in his latter years by his longing to seek after God's heart as glimpsed from his writings in Psalms.

     The key of David will likely be the opening of the door into the knowledge of God.

Rev 3:8  "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name."

    Despite being frail, this church is obedient and is bold in proclaiming the name of God. In return, God gave this weak church free access into the knowledge of our Lord Jesus for the purpose of strengthening and empowering them.

2 Pet 1:5-8  But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev 3:9  Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

    The Jews in the OT were once God's chosen people, but they have lost the title after the death of Jesus. Any gathering in a Jewish synagogue angers God because He has renounced the place as a synagogue of Satan. 

    During WW3, those from the synagogue of Satan will witness God's provision and protection on His believers. Following the great manifestation of God's love, the Jews will repent and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is their Messiah.

Rev 3:10-11  Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."

    This church had faithfully kept the commandments of Jesus, had persevered through temptations, deceptions, heresies and persecutions from worldly brethren. 

    In return, God will count him worthy to escape the coming great tribulations and will also reward him the kingship in heaven.  In these last days, godly Christians too will have much to persevere in order to be counted worthy by God.

Luke 21:34-36  "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." 

Rev 3:12-13  "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will Write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

   Victorious churches will be appointed as priesthood (pillar in the temple) in the kingdom of God (New Jerusalem). The Name of God is JESUS, the name above all names.

Phi 2:9-10  Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Beware - God ensured that the New Testament was written in Greek (not in Hebrew) for all mankind, and the name 'JESUS' as the Saviour of the world. So let's worship JESUS in spirit and truth, the name above all names.

Revelation Chapter 3 (R03c1)

        Church of Laodicea

Rev 3:14-16  "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."

    God declared that He is a creator who is faithful, truthful and knows our deeds. He classified us into three spiritual characteristic profiles.

  

Mat 21:28-31  "But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, 'Son, go, work today in my vineyard.' He answered and said, 'I will not,' but afterward he regretted it and went. Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, 'I go, sir,' but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said to Him, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.

    The first son was quick to rebuff his father but came around and did as he was told. The second son was quick to pay lip service but did nothing.

1. Cold – like first son. 

     These are quiet Christians who cannot commit themselves to any ministry in the church because of other commitments. They are people whose work goes unnoticed, made sacrifices in secret, and whose good works have encouraged and help many brethren (Matt 6:1-18).

2. Hot - true disciples

    Christians who are zealous, outspoken, expose heresies, obedient to His word, preachers of the gospel and commit to disciple-making.

3. Lukewarm - the second son

    Jesus used the second son as a metaphor to hypocritical chief priests and elders who were quick to acquiesce to God's commandments but did not commit to practicing it. Their religious traditions were merely performances to covet for the praises of men. They were not sincere and had sinful inner thoughts. So these lukewarm Christians are like the abominable Jewish hypocrites who crucified our Lord Jesus.

Luke 16:14-15  Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Rev 3:17  Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

   The church was prosperous in its physical form but was miserable, wretched, poor, blind and naked spiritually.

    Rich and powerful churches and congregations today have robbed God by hoarding His money in properties, stock markets, deposits in banks, and investments. Don't they know that in God's eyes, they are wretched, miserable... Why?

   

Rev 3:18  I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

    What to buy from our Lord?

1. Refined gold - Christians are warned not to store up wealth for themselves but to build treasures in heaven by distributing earthly wealth for good works. In doing so, we will be rewarded with refined gold in heaven (Luke 12:33).

2. White garments - Awarded to stalwart Christians who follow Christ through thick and thin  (Rev 3:1-6 and Rev 6:9-11).

3. Eye salve - Medicine for the eyes so that Christians can set their minds on things above and crucify their flesh for their inheritance in heaven.

Eph 1:17-18   that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

Revelation Chapter 3 (R03c2)

        Church of Laodicea

Rev 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

    Are you aware that your sickness, sorrows, trials and deficits in life are God's chastisement for you, out of His love? He wants to set you free from your sinful ways if only you would repent.

    Do not be deceived into thinking that these are demonic attacks. If God could not keep the devil in check, then He is unworthy to be your Father God.

Note:  No one can touch nor harm you without the approval of our Father God.

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

    The Lord is calling out to you incessantly. Will you turn over a new leaf and welcome Him into your life? 

Rev 3:21-22  "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

    Christians who overcome the wickedness of the world, must also be merciful and full of the fruit of the Spirit since the throne of God is His mercy seat.

Deception of Eve

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

    God allowed Adam to eat from all the trees in the garden of Eden except the fruit of the tree of knowledge. The devil twisted what God said and made Eve believed that all the fruit in the garden were not for their consumption. 

    Prior to her ill encounter with the devil, Eve had eaten fruits from the garden. Convinced that she had made a blunder, she threw all caution to the wind by succumbing to her craving for the jewel in the crown, the fruit from the forbidden tree! Eve fell for Satan's deception and sinned.

Birth of New Heresies

    Satan did not stop at Eve! He is still actively feeding us lies through the internet, online and offline media, and from the pulpit. Not learning from Eve's folly, some Christians fell into the sweet lies of Satan. They are led to believe that they have discovered a new revelation from God, thus starting another heresy.

Early Heresy in NT Churches

Acts 15:5  But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."

    The first heresy occurred in the book of Acts where converted strong headed Pharisees insisted on partially keeping the obsolete Mosaic Law. The unbiblical dogma is propagated by unlearned churches today and have earned quite a following.

Gal 5:4  You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

Lesson from Jesus's Temptations

Mat 4:3-4, 6, 9  Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God... If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down... All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."

    The devil repeatedly challenged Jesus to feed His hunger, to crave power and to covet for wealth by insinuating that if Jesus could not do so, He would not be the Son of God.

    Today, covetous pastors and Christian influencers preach that as Christians are the sons of God, we should be affluent, powerful, and live a victorious trouble free lives. The title as the sons of God does not befit us if we are anything less.

    These ideologies give rise to heresies like prosperity gospel, positive confession, once saved always saved, secret rapture, and many others.

Revelation Chapter 4 (R04a)

          Scene in Heaven

Rev 4:1-2  After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

    God called John up to heaven and showed him what was to happen soon for a purpose. Somewhere along the line, Paul was caught up to heaven for the same purpose. They were men on a God-given mission. 

2 Cor 12:4  how he (Paul) was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Note  - many Christian leaders claimed (lied) to have visited heaven, yet by their fruit, they have blown their cover.

The New Covenant

Mat 26:27-28  Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

    Jesus was a Jew on earth whose teachings were in line with the Law of Moses because to do otherwise, it would be sin. We are made to understand from Paul's epistles, that Jesus, having fulfilled the Mosaic Law and the Prophets, had made them obsolete with the New Covenant of His blood shed on the cross.

Heb 8:13  In that He says, "A new covenant ," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Love One Another

Rom 13:8-10  Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

    When we love one another as Jesus had loved us by dying on the cross for the remission of our sin, we have fulfilled the law.

Rev 4:3-4  And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

Jasper - an aggregate of microgranular quartz is an opaque, impure variety of silica, usually red.

Sardine stone - sardion (Greek) from a root meaning "red", is a gem of a blood-red colour.

    The colour of jasper and sardius stone is typically red which speaks for the  blood of Jesus that was shed for our redemption.

The Love of God

Phi 2:5-8  Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God... And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

    Jesus gave up his divine privileges and humbly reincarnated as a man to save mankind. He was hung on the cross for the removal of our curses, His blood and death for our redemption and the stripes on His broken body for our healing. 

The rainbow  is a reminder of God's faithfulness in keeping His covenant.

Rev 4:5-6  And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

    God appeared before the Israelites on Mount Sinai accompanied by the appearance of lightnings, thunderings and voices.

    The seven Spirits of God, or the seven lamps, or the Holy Spirit was given to Jesus in its entirety but to every Christian, it is poured out in measure in keeping with each calling.

Revelation Chapter 4 (R04b)

          Scene in Heaven

Rev 4:7-8  The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

Like a Lion

Rev 5:5  But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."

    Jesus was born as the Lion of Judah, the king of animals, and the King of kings.

Like a Calf

Luke 2:7  And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

    Jesus was born in humility in a stable amongst animals. He was the predestined sacrificial Lamb for the atonement of our sins and the sacrificial Calf as an absolution offering for the sins of His priests and leaders.

Lev 9:8  Aaron therefore went to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

Like the Face of Man

John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

    Jesus incarnated in the flesh as a servant and obediently died on the cross for the salvation of men.

Phi 2:5-8  ...And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Like a Flying Eagle

Isa 40:31  But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

    People who put their trust in the Lord will be strong in all aspects and gain victory over the pain of living, sicknesses and bondages.

Isa 9:6  For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

   

Who are the four living creatures?

Rev 5:8  Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp...

    The four living creatures who are in reverence of Jesus are faithful disciples who have been transformed into His image.

Eze 1:6,10  Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings... As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.

   The faces of the four creatures signify the humanity of Jesus and His ministries on earth.

Full of Eyes around and within

    The four creatures understand the word of God, His will and His work.

Eze 1:18  As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.    

Led by the Spirit

Eze 1:12  And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went.

   These are disciples who kept His words and are led by the Spirit of God 

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Rev 4:9-11  Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created." 

    Above is self-explanatory.

Revelation Chapter 5 (R05)

       Scene in Heaven

Rev 5:1-4  And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?" And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.

    God was seated on the throne and was holding a scroll which was sealed with seven seals. When no one was found worthy to open the scroll, John cried, because the mysteries of God in the scroll could not be revealed to them.

Rev 5:5-7  But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals." And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

   An elder comforted John by telling him that One from the tribe of Judah, a descendant of David had overcome and was found worthy of opening the scroll. In the midst of the throne, stood a Lamb who was resurrected from the dead and was filled with the seven Spirits of God, our Lord Jesus Himself. He came and took the scroll from the hand of God.

Rev 5:8-10  Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth."

   When our Lord Jesus took the scroll, the four living creatures and twenty-four elders fell before Him and sang a new song. Thanking Him for redeeming them back to God with His blood on the cross and for awarding them to be His kings and priests.

Note the four living creatures and twenty-four elders were human beings for they too were redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Rev 5:11-14  Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!" And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!" Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

    Whenever the saints are gathered before the throne of God, spontaneous worship erupts. They bow down in honour of the Father and to the Lamb for their sacrificial love to mankind. Expressions of gratitude for their salvation on earth and for their eternal inhabitance with God, are beautiful sound of praise in the heavenly realm.

Revelation Chapter 6 (R06-1)

   First Seal - False Christ

Rev 6:1-2  Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see." And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

Rider is on a white horse

    This rider is empowered (on horse) to perform righteous (white) work. Our Lord Jesus and His heavenly armies were clothed in white linen.

Warning – no mention of this rider wearing white garment.

Rev 19:14-15  And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword...

Rider shoots darts with the bow

Eph 6:16-17  above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

     Christians are to take up the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts (distorted doctrines and heresies) of the wicked one, whose agents are false teachers, false prophets and Antichrists. Christians too must use the word of God as the sword of the Spirit to overcome the deceptions and wicked schemes of Satan.

Warning – this rider is definitely an agent of Satan (shooting darts to destroy our faith).

A crown was given to him

     He is elected by the people to be the head of state (king, president, prime minister, etc.).

He went forth conquering

    He is so convincing and powerful that all will fear and submit to him.

PLO-Israel Peace Treaty

    On 13 Sept 1993, US President Clinton with unanimous approval from all UN members pressured Israeli Prime Minister Rabin to sign the PLO-Israel Peace Treaty by trading the Promised Land for peace with the following conditions:

1. to immediately cede Jericho

– walls of Jericho miraculously came tumbling down without Israel lifting a finger.

2. to immediately cede Gaza strip

– David killed the giant Goliath from Gaza with a smooth round stone from the brook.

3. to cede West Bank in stages

– God gave the Promised Land to Israel as their eternal inheritance.

4. to negotiate for Jerusalem to be shared with others at a later date.

– Jerusalem is the Holy City of the Lord God Almighty

Giving away Jericho, Gaza strip and West Bank is outright unbelief in Yahweh and the OT.

     This is possibly the greatest abomination committed by Israel.

    Jews and Christians have forgotten that the promised land – Israel, is the eternal inheritance of the Israelites. 

    Repent brethren for approving this abominable Peace Treaty, which reveals our faithlessness in God.

    I believe that the First Seal was opened in 1993 when President Clinton brokered the signing of the abominable PLO-Israel Peace Treaty, which also started the Last Generation.

   He was also the first end time false christ mentioned in Mat 24:4-5.

Brethren, if President Clinton can so easily deceive Christians in praising, supporting and glorifying the abominable PLO-Israel Peace Treaty, how easy it will be for the Antichrist to deceive Christians including the so-called elects, if they are without prior knowledge nor understanding of the End Time Prophecies and Signs.

     Heretical teachings are a growing threat to Christians. The trend shows no sign of abating and has only gotten worse. Foolish Christian politicians in the West even defiled the world with legislated homosexuality and same sex marriage thereby condemning themselves to annihilation.

Judgment of God

    To preserve the purity of the human race made in His image, God had to annihilate Sodom and Gomorrah for their homosexuality.

Revelation Chapter 6 (R06-2)

            Second Seal

Rev 6:3-4  When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come and see." Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

Fiery red horse – much bloodshed

Take peace from earth – unrests, rebellions, riots, wars, skirmishes.

People killing one another – civil wars caused by racial, religious, tribal and political unrests.

A great sword – multitudes will be killed in a very short period.

    In the late 80's, there were more than 100 civil wars, skirmishes and unrests worldwide. In 1991, after US, EU and coalition conquered Iraq, Muslims demonstrated to show their dissatisfaction and some went into terrorism killing many innocent souls. In early 90's, some unrests and uprisings developed into serious civil wars, and those with tens of thousands massacred were found in Rwanda, Chechnya, Ethiopia, Bosnia, Burundi, Somalia, etc.

    UN (esp. US) was tasked with the difficult mandate to bring peace to all these warring nations.

    In 1993, US President Clinton succeeded in bringing the Jews and Palestinians to sign the abominable PLO-Israel Peace Treaty of land for peace, thus fulfilling the prophecy of the opening the First Seal.  

    However, without God's approval, there was no peace in Israel as the Palestinians daily took to the street causing civil unrest, street protests, skirmishes and killings until the Israeli government had to build an 8 metre high wall to separate them.

Fulfillment of Second Seal

   On 6 April 1994, after the plane of the President of Burundi was shot down, all hell broke loose. The great sword with one stroke killed almost one million souls within a short period of three months.

    I believe this Rwandan Genocide was the fulfillment of the opening of the Second Seal.

This 2nd Seal - Rwandan Genocide was not recorded in Mat 24 because it was in Central Africa. The end time signs taught by our Lord Jesus in Mat 24 concern only the temple of God, Jerusalem and Israel.

Wikipedia: The Rwandan Genocide was a genocidal mass slaughter of Tutsi and moderate Hutu in Rwanda by members of the Hutu majority. During the approximate 100-day period from April 7 to mid – July 1994, an estimated 500,000 – 1,000,000 Rwandans were killed, constituting as much as 70% of the Tutsi and 20% of Rwanda's total population.

Civil Unrest and Wars

    Since the Rwandan Genocide and within two years, UN was successful in bringing peace to almost all the waring states by giving them financial helps and incentives resulting to some sort of peace worldwide.  

    The 1997 Financial Crisis caused the poor in third world countries to suffer hardship and hunger, leading to the 2011 Arab Spring, where all Arab nations were affected.

Arab Uprising and ISIS

    The Arab Spring developed into the Arab Uprisings with civil wars and rebellions in many Arab countries. By the end of February 2012, rulers had been forced from power in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya with civil uprisings erupted in Bahrain and Syria.

    In March 2013, the atrocious ISIS (Danesh) took over the Syrian city of Raqqa and then many parts of Syria and Iraq.

    All these wars and atrocities against mankind forced the Arabs to flee their devastated homeland, resulting to millions upon millions of Muslim refugees entering the rich and stable West.

Note  - meanwhile the proud and mighty LGBT community strongly supported by US President Obama, UN Human Rights, and leaders of EU had turned the West into Sodom and Gomorrah. They persecuted and forced godly Christians to accept homosexuality, which will lead them to damnation.

    The presence of these fervent Muslims, who pray on the streets and abhor homosexuality, brought fear into the LGBT community thereby suppressing their abominable street processions and persecutions.

Revelation Chapter 6 (R06-3)

            Third Seal

Rev 6:5-6  When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."

Black horse – complete darkness, this will be during the time of great confusion worldwide.

A pair of balance – suggests fairness or unfairness, partiality, injustice, imbalance.

A denarius was a day's pay

1. Money Depreciation

     This is a time when money loses its value and is trading at a portion of its original value. Earning a denarius a day was considered as good income during good days but it has lost its value overnight. Inflation raises the price of goods and diminishes currency values.

2. Disparity of Income

    A day's pay might not satisfy the needs and wants of the affluent but it could mean abundance to the poor. This is an indicator of the great disparity of income between the rich and the poor.

Hurt not the oil (Israel)

and wine (Christians are the new wine).

    During this financial crisis, almost all countries will be affected but Israel and Christian nations will certainly be spared.

Asian Financial Crisis 1997

    In 1997, the stock market collapsed but within a few days; Israel, Christian nations and a few other nations recovered. South America, Africa and Asia were badly hit.    

    Malaysia too was badly hit with the ringgit dropping to new lows daily forcing the Prime Minister to anchor it to the US dollar.

Rich becoming Richer

    Affected nations suffered great financial setbacks but the West prospered, making the rich richer. Since then, the income imbalance has progressively widen the gap with the poor still earning US$3/day but the rich have grown from multi-millionaires in 1997 to billionaires in 2007, and are now multi-billionaires.

Earth's Darkest Hour

     The 1997 Asia Financial Crisis put many countries in the red due to currency depreciation and a slump in stock prices and assets. On the contrary, Israel and Christian nations prospered during this darkest hour. God in his infinite wisdom blessed these nations so that they can bless poor countries in return and to spread the salvation of Jesus Christ. Following this, the possible Millennium Bug or Y2K, a catastrpohic error in computing may triggered hysteria in every nation and every individual.

Third Seal Opened in 1997

   I believe the Third Seal was opened in 1997 during the Asian Financial Crisis. In spite of God's favour on Christian nations, US and EU which are major powerhouse in UN, choose to oppress the poorer nations into legalizing homosexuality and same sex marriage. Their tyrannical actions made them a common enemy of many poor countries.

This 3rd Seal again did not affect the temple, Jerusalem nor Israel and therefore our Lord did not mention it in Matthew 24.

Destructive False Christs

    Prosperity gospel, keeping of Jewish traditions, once saved always saved, positive confession, secret rapture and other heresies taught in churches had made Christians selfish, worldly and blind.

    The aftermath of false indoctrination since year 2000 was the starting point where churches begin to hoard treasures and perpetuate the teaching of wrong doctrines to its congregations. Gay and lesbian Christian leaders unashamedly boasted their carnality in the name of God. In addition, there are many greedy covetous pastors and evangelist who are living the high lives of millionaires with God's money. These depraved Christian leaders destroyed the faith of Christian politicians, making them agnostic. Unbelieving politicians are easy vessels for passing the laws on homosexuality, abortions, drugs and many social ills.

Revelation Chapter 6 (R06-4a)

              Fourth Seal 1

Rev 6:7-8  When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a pale (green) horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

Pale (green) Horse

    The Greek word 'chloros,' which means green colour, has been wrongly translated as pale, possibly because there were no green horses. Green is universally known as the colour of Islam. This vision could be a warning sign about the rise of Islamic power that will eventually conquer and subdue the world.

Rider's name was Death

    This suggests that a quarter of mankind will be killed or murdered.

Followed by Hades

    The massacred will be cast into Hades, but godly Christians will be spared from the anarchy. The righteous are preserved so that they can disciple the hundreds of millions of souls, saved during WW3, the 4th seal. These will be prepared for tribulations and ready to become the bride of the Lamb during Rapture

A quarter of Mankind (2 billion people) will be killed by:

1. Sword - World War 3, where possibly weapons of mass destruction are employed to kill so many people. In Mat 24, this war is so extensive, destructive, and deadly that it is just like the end of the world (the end is not yet).

Mat 24:6  "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

2. Hunger - food shortages caused by famines and wars.

3. Death - earthquakes, tsunamis, pestilences (plagues), weapons of mass destruction, etc.

4. Beasts of the earth - plagues transmitted from animals.

This 4th Seal of Rev 6:7-8 is synchronised as Mat 24:6-7

Mat 24:7  "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places."

Harvest of Tares (please read Mat 13:36-43)

Mat 13:41  "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

     Before the end time harvest of His elect at Rapture, God will send His angels to remove the tares (wolves and heretic) from His kingdom (church) so that He can prepare the bride of the Lamb.

    The tares are fallen Christians, who are offensive (worldly, covetous, deceivers, carnal, depraved, sodomites, adulterers and idolaters) and had practice lawlessness (heresies, wrong doctrines, lies, and deceptions). 

    God will use this fourth Seal (WW3) to kill all these wolves and depraved Christians (tares) in His kingdom (church) and cast them into eternal fire.

The Fourth Seal is Near

    Repent brethren from evil, wickedness, and heresies for the opening of the fourth Seal is just around the corner. To ensure your eternal inheritance, keep the words of Jesus, love God, and love one another as Jesus had loved us 

Eph 5:2-5  And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
